Current inhabitants are 4 albino corydoras, 3 peppered corydoras, 5 cardinal tetras and 8 flame tetras. Below is an older picture, after it I've lost 2 cardinals to a mystery disease.
And here are the newest addition, my beloved flame tetras. They are super greedy and mean and I am head over heels in love with them!
Do you guys have aquaria or have you planned on getting one? I want to hear!
I've been thinking about keeping fish but not quite sure where to start. I've read a lot on it and don't know if a fish bowl vs small tank will be the best place to start. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteFishkeeping is a great hobby, and it goes so well with houseplants because aquarium water is full of nutrients that plants love! If possible, I would suggest starting with a bit bigger tank (30-40 gallons, ~100 litres) because the stability is so much harder to maintain on a small tank. Also, you will get greedy for more fish and bigger tank = more fish! If you want a smaller one, the smallest you can go is about 5 gallons and it can house one betta fish.
